Myne, the world’s first digital recycling company, is building a future where metals are no longer mined from the earth but endlessly recycled. Myne Circular Plastics is Myne’s new venture, fully focused on recycling plastic and metal waste. The Business Lead will guide this start-up to a leading position in the plastic recycling industry.

The Business Lead is responsible for building and scaling Myne Circular Plastics. With a unique blend of strategic vision, technical knowledge, and entrepreneurial energy, the Business Lead will shape the future of the company.

The technology foundation is in place – it’s up to the Business Lead to take it to the next level: further developing it and positioning the proposition strongly, both commercially and organizationally.

They will work closely with a team of four highly motivated engineers. While these engineers bring deep technical expertise, the Business Lead is the one to transform technology into a commercially viable proposition. This requires solid product knowledge, insight into market developments, and an understanding of relevant regulations.

As the face of Myne Circular Plastics, the Business Lead inspires the team, embodies the mission and values, and represents the venture externally – including with investors, regulators, and key partners.

They will also build and maintain strategic partnerships with research institutes like TU Delft, as well as with customers and stakeholders, to increase the venture’s reach and impact.

Lastly, the Business Lead is responsible for financial strategy and planning – to ensure continuity, secure funding, and drive sustainable growth.

• 5+ years of experience

• Background in strategy consulting

• Technical/engineering background

• Strong project management skills

• Entrepreneurial scale-up mindset

• Based in or willing to work from Harderwijk (NL)
