About the job
As a operations business development manager at Myne, you’ll be instrumental in translating the commercial strategy into long-term business growth by building strong customer partnerships and optimizing Myne’s aluminium business performance. You develop, and optimize the commercial position of our aluminum produced from our cutting-edge sorting technology. In a collaborative environment, you’ll work towards common goals while taking the lead as sales person. Key Responsibilities
✅ Quality Management & Control
Quality Protocols – Establishing inspection and yard protocols for incoming materials informed by data and operational needs.
Quality Feedback Xorter/MDX – Provide insights and feedback to the R&D team regarding processed qualities in order to improve the machines to create true circular metals.
Post-consumed metals Quality Assurance – Implementing systems to guarantee compliance with our quality standards, trace-ability with the source and that fits with our promise and our customer needs.
Staying in touch with customers – Remain in close contact with our suppliers and customers when is relates to supplied and delivered qualities.
🔄 Processes & Continuous Improvement
Process Optimization – Streamlining inbound and outbound quality assessment flows and workflows.
PDCA Cycle – Using the Plan-Do-Check-Act method for continuous improvement.
👥 People & Training
Supporting the team – Responsible for planning and education the team responsible for assessing and sorting the inbound and outbound qualities of all materials flows (lab and quality coordinators).
Training & Education – Equipping team members with the knowledge and skills to uphold quality standards, use digital tools, and follow protocols.
💻 Data & Digital Tools
Grading App – Developing and managing a digital tool for real-time quality assessment.
Data Analysis – Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to monitor and improve material and process quality.
Dashboarding – Defining and tracking metrics that reflect quality and process performance (e.g., EUR/MT, claim ratio).Setting up visual dashboards to monitor quality metrics and process indicators in real time and share with all stakeholders
About you

Operational Track Record: 2-5 years experience in physical operations and project management, ideally in industrial or materials sectors. With your enthusiasm and motivation you quickly want to learn everything about the qualities of (un)processed scrap metals, you want to organize processes and the teams to make supply chain smoother for both our customers and colleagues.
Hands-On Mentality: You’re not afraid to get close to the product and the process. You thrive in a physical business environment and understand that real-world impact happens on-site, not just on slides.
Intrinsic Drive: A genuine passion for sustainability and circular materials. You're motivated by building something meaningful, able to dive deep into the details when needed, while maintaining a clear 80/20 mindset to focus on what truly drives impact.
Entrepreneurial Thinking: You’re a self-starter who identifies opportunities, takes initiative, and drives results independently, while aligning with the bigger operational strategy.
Strong Communicator: You bring clarity and energy to conversations in the teams and to clients when it is about the quality of our products. You know how to listen, challenge, and build trust.
Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy working closely with operations and the commercial team. You're not siloed, you’re part of a team that builds together.
Analytical capabilities: You have analytical capabilities with a bachelors/masters degree and being at least fluent in English since most customers will be located across Europe.
