One of our key technologies is the Xorter, which converts metal waste into high-quality raw materials comparable to virgin metals, but at a lower cost. We collaborate closely with research institutions such as Delft University of Technology to enhance our capabilities. By leveraging advanced AI and robotics, we ensure high-quality metal recycling, delivering circular metals on demand, on recipe, and at the lowest cost.

Role Description

As a Software Engineer at Myne, you’ll design, develop, and optimize the software powering our innovative sorting technologies, ensuring seamless implementation and deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Design: Architect functional, performant, and scalable (robotics) software solutions.

• Develop: Write maintainable code, actively participate in testing, debugging, documentation, and performance optimization.

• Explore and Enhance: Research emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve our products.

• Collaborate: Work closely with management, operations, and engineers to define project plans and requirements.

• Own Project Delivery: Take full responsibility for projects from start to finish, managing timelines and deliverables independently.

What You Bring

• Hands-On Software Engineering: Proven experience in (robotics) software development with proficiency in various programming languages (C++, Python, Rust) and relevant tools (OpenCV, Docker, Git, PyTorch, Pixi).

• Passion for Impact: Intrinsic motivation for technology (Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning) and a commitment to sustainability and climate-positive initiatives.

• Independent and Proactive: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively.

• Full-Stack Comfort: Experience across the software development life cycle: architecture, design, implementation, testing (Unit, Integration, CI), deployment (Windows, Linux, CD), documentation, and maintenance.
